My friend just update me about our colleague's that quit the his job because wanted to be a full time insurance agent. Wow..... excellent! Even though his salary just increase but he decide to quit the job. He said insurance agent can earn more than his current salary. Yes I agreed if we work hard on that. I have tried to be an insurance agent also but I'm not suitable to that. Nowadays everybody look for an opportunity and want to own BOSS. Congratulation for all bosses!

Nescafe Drinker's

Yesterday I bring my son go to school. I have a chance get to know others mothers and chatting with them. One of the interesting topic is nescafe. I realised women love to drink nescafe. I'm a drinker to hahaha..... I love to drink nescafe. It's my daily breakfast. However is not good if we drink too much of nescafe. Ok come back to my topic at my son school. There are 4 mothers included me, 3 mothers are drinker's and only 1 don't like to drink nescafe. Here it's shown that women love to drink nescafe.
Most of drinker's will said: My day is not complete without nescafe.
Yes I agreed. If one day we are not drink it we will feel something is missing. My sister's one of drinker before but now she is tried to control on it. She said got bad impact to her health. She will feel headache if she drink nescafe. So she tried to stop it and she feel better and no more headache. My sister's story is contrast with my friend. My friend said she will feel headache if not drink nescafe. Normally she will drink in the morning but if she skip it she will feel very bad headache around 10am above. Wow..... there are many impact also ya.....
But I believe nescafe is a healthy drink also but remember don't drink too much. We must practise healthy diet.

Missing children are still not found

Where is Sharline? This pity girl is still not found.

I have read in Star newspaper yesterday and according to Deputy Women, Family and Community Minister Noriah Kasnon more than half of the 242 children reported missing between January to March have not found yet. How to prevent this not to happen to our kids? We must seriously look into this and every family member must play a big role. Don't let your kids go out from house without permission. The door gate must always locked even though we are at home.

What's news for today?

Ohh...... my son got fever again. Last night he did not get enough sleep because of flame and running nose. He wake up is about 3.30 am and sleep back at 4.40 am. Wooooww..... I'm very tired. Every time he sick I also sick.... virus around the house. He started with flu and then recover back. After that my daughter getting flu... and the virus go back to him. Now he get 3 in 1 = flu, cough and fever.
I just came back from clinic and doctor advice to bring him back to clinic on tomorrow. Once reach home I immidiately give him the medicine. Finally he is sleeping. I will always monitor his condition if he is sick.
Yeah!!!! school holiday will be start tomorrow. Happy holiday guys!

Teddy Bear

My daughter with her teddy bear

Wesak Day is over for this year. Today I will be at home for the whole day. Last night I went to visit my niece at hospital. She admitted to hospital because of fever. Doctor suspected denggi and need to do blood test. Thanks god the result is shown negative. She is free from denggi.

My daughter went to kindergarten at 8.00 am. She is big girl now but still attached to her teddy bear. This teddy bear I bought for her since 2003 at Popular Book Store. It's almost 5 years already. She will sleep and play with this teddy bear for the whole day and night. The funny part is before she go to kindergarten she will kiss " muahhhhhhhh" and keep her teddy bear in the local. After coming back from kindergarten she will go and get back her teddy bear. I have tried many time to buy a new teddy bear for her but she don't want to take it even though is nicer than her teddy bear. I think most of the toddler's are like this. I can see some others children attached to blanket, pillow ( bantal busuk hahaha... ) etc....

So to others mum don't worry if you have faces same problem with me! But one thing need to remember is always wash it to avoid a bacteria.

Today is Wesak Day

Candle's in the glass
Today is a Wesak day. All Buddhists in the world will celebrate Wesak day which is also known as Buddha's birthday, enlightenment and passing away of Gautama Buddha. Every glasses have an owner name. There are 3 size of glasses big, medium and small. The donation amount is based on the size of glasses. We went back home after prayer's. My son are getting tired because of the crowd.

There are many ways to cut cost

Safer alternative: Dr Rokiah does not use pesticides on her vegetables. It might not look as nice but to Dr Rokiah ‘a chilli is just a chilli.’

Cut costs, plant your own vegetables
By RASHVINJEET S.BEDI mailto:S.BEDIsunday@thestar.com.my

Yeah!!!! Cost living and food prices are increasing. One of the most effective way to cut cost is to plant our own vegetables. This is a safer and healthier food!

Healthy Diet

Woooow..... sharing one plate! We are on diet!!!

Let's talk about diet! This is because I'm on diet now!!!!

A healthy diet is refer to the correct portion of carbohydrates, proteins, fresh fruits and vegetables. To take care of our weight we should take 3 meal a day but with a small portion.

Normally I will start with breakfast. The word of breakfast means breaking your fast. When you break your fast from the previous night by eating breakfast, your brain receives nourishment and tells your body to wake up. Hence, eating a proper breakfast increases your attention span and will help you to perform better at work. Some people believe skipping breakfast can make us lose weight. This is wrong! When you skip breakfast you tend to eat more during the day. This will make you gain more calories.
Lunch is a must for me and I'm sure for everyone of us also. If I'm at home the main menu is white rice with vegetables or sup and one more menu is meat or fish. Sometimes I will order noddles if I'm eat lunch out site.

I will take small portion for dinner because I like to eat fruits at night. Naturally some form of exercise like yoga, body balance or even dancing are wonderful ways to complement your food intake. These activities will help you to burn calories and maintain your weight so you can feel good and look great all the time.

Activities to avoid bored

Stay at home mum sometimes can be very boring right? Everyday do the same things like a routine of our life. How can we utilise our time? I have a tips on how to utilise the time.
  • Go for Yoga - Alternate with your spouse some responsibilities. At least twice a month go for yoga class. Yoga is very good to relieve your stress. They are wonderful for revitalizing your mind, body and spirit. If you do not have time to attend classed get a video instead and learn them in the comfort of your home.
  • Go for a walk - Being at home round the clock is not good for us especially baby. Make it as a habit to wrap up your kids and get some fresh air together.
  • Meet up your friends - Set the date and place to hanging-out with friends especially in a group will be more fun. You can meet up for lunch or watch movie together. Normally when we spend time with friends we will have of lot of story
  • Shopping - This is the most enjoying time for ladies.
  • Go for Massage - Being massaged is generally a very relaxing experience which many people find beneficial when stressed, whether done by a trained masseur or by friend.
  • Exercise - Get off your butt and exercise! Exercising releases endorphins which make you feel better. Get moving by running, swimming, playing tennis or simply brisk walking.

Start it now if you feel bored! Do whatever you love!

My neighbour

Finally I have a neighbour. New family just move in to the house today. I get to know them and chatting with a mothers to 3 kids. She is working as a nurse at hospital. I think she is friendly and I'm happy to have the neighbour after 3 years the house was empty. For me neighbour is very important because we need to see them everyday.

Should we have a maid at home?

Today is Wednesday! Finally I have time to update my blog after a few day I was busy with my kids because my son is fever and now he just recover from fever. Let's me share my worst experience about maid.
I believe all working mothers will need a maid at home. But whether we can trust the maid or not that is another matter. For me I prefer baby sitter than a maid. This is because I have pass by very bad experience.
Now a day we can't trust on maid whether we get it from agency or from friends. I have experience taking a maid from my friend. She introduce to me and liaise with Indonesia agency. As a friend I trust her and give my deposit money to her at about RM 2500. She said the maid will come 2 weeks more. After 2 weeks I ask her why the maid is not come yet? She give me an awnser that the maid has ran away and they tried to find a replacement to me. She ask me whether I would like to get replacement or not? Of course I want and she ask to pay another RM 1000 for the air tickets. I and my husband discuss about this and agreed to pay her another RM1000 because if we need to start again also we need to pay more than this. After one week later the maid has come and my husband need to go to fetch her from KLIA. She has been with me one month and after that ran away.
This is a bad experience for me because even though my mother in law is at home but she still can ran away from my house. I trying to call my friend and ask her back for my money because she informed me that this maid has never come to Malaysia before. But she is cheated me. And she also changed her handphone no. and unfortunately I can't contact her at all.
After this incident happen I don't want to have maid again!

My lovely daughter.....

Smiling face....Suphitsa and her cousin

Pink colour is her favourite colour! Easy to guess which one is my daughter.... Her name is Suphitsa and now she is 6 years old and ready to go to standard one on next year. She is very smart and always be a best student in her class. She love to go back to home town because she can meet all her cousin at Kedah.
Sometimes I feel very difficult to handle her at this age because she will always argue and want to win all the time.... but I realised if I can give a good reason she can accept it. So to teach the kids we must have a reason and don't simply give instruction to them as they will question us back with WHY?

Mother's Day is coming....11th May

my lovely son....one month old

My son name is Suphakrit. He was born in December 2003. He is very cute and very good son.
Why I'm showing my son picture here? It's because I want to express my feeling how much I love him and always hope that he will be a great person in our family. Mother's Day is a special day for us to remember and give something special to our mum... As a mum I feel very great and very special when I have my lovely son and my daughter with me at home.
Of course if I'm showing my son photo here my daughter will ask me why I'm only put his brother photo why not her photo? Being a good mum we need to be fare to our kids. If not they will feel frustrated. Therefore I will put her photo as well in my blog....

Today I and my family also contributed some donation to those people that really need our help at Myanmar. I just finished watch TV3 news and they had shown us how many people are suffer from the tragedy. Very sad... when I looked at a mothers that had lost their child's. They are really need support and help. As a human I'm sure that everyone of us are care for them. I always believe the more we give the more we get. In Bahasa Melayu said, "murah rezeki" if we give donation.

Life is a temporary....plan for future

"Life is a test... life is a trust...and... life is a temporary" I always believe this and started to believe it after my father had pass away (8 years ago). I realised our life is a temporary therefore try to fulfill our dream and archive it. Sometimes dreams are not what we expect but to determine a dream is important.
Think positive! This is they way we can archive our dream and live in a peach of world.
Last night I spoke to my husband and ask him, "how is our financial when we are retire"? "Are EPF money can survive"?
My husband don't have any awnser for this and only said one word " that is why we need to work hard now".
Yes! It's true we must work hard but the most important thing is work smart and do a planing for future. Without a plan we don't have any saving for our retirement. Living cost is also increase now a day. I suggest to spend smart and cut those expenses that not important. Don't eat outsite is the best way... as we know rice price are increase to!
For more info about financial planing please go my blog web at http://myfinancial-plan.blogspot.com/

Online selling...

Sometime I hate selling but sometime when think it again selling is the best way to make people rich... Of course if we need to go out it's not suitable for us as a mum... but now a day we have Internet at home and the best way of selling is via eBay or online selling....
If you are person love to read I believe you have buy a lot of book and still keep it right? Why not you just sell it on your web with giving discount 10% - 50% at least you can earn income from this.....
I love to read motivation book and magazine that related to mum... especially Women's Weekly and herworld... experience can come from reading as well.
